Blushing Brides: Bridal Themed Studio Shoot, Vol. 3

Our last, but certainly not least, model of the day was Alison, who was a little nervous at the start but we got it going as we went along.  What’s even better was that the weather finally broke for us, the rain stopped so, after getting some studio shots like this one, I was fortunate enough to be able to take the session outside for a bit.

Blushing Brides: Bridal Themed Studio Shoot, Vol. 2

Blushing Brides: Saturday’s In-Studio Bridal Shoot

I had a wonderful opportunity to team with the talented Eonet Brown and three talented and beautiful models (Jaclyn Wells, Alicia Pope-Richardson and Alison Bohannon Todd) for a bridal themed photoshoot in the palatial studio location this past Saturday. I couldn’t be more happy with what came out of this shoot. This is just a preview of the avalanche of beauty that arrived on that day…

The Groomsman

This Saturday I had the pleasure of working with Bobby Alcott and Ross Sandelius, shooting the wedding of two fellow Howard alumni in Detroit.  This very smooth and suave gentlemen flew in all the way from Lagos, Nigeria for the occasion.

Adventures In Wedding Photography

I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to give an assist to my friend, Bobby Alcott of Bobby Alcott Weddings, at a Hindu wedding ceremony (my first). So much fun, so much color, so much great food and music… So much hopping!

If you’ve never been to an Indian/Hindu wedding you should really go… now… really. If you haven’t been invited to one then you should find one to crash. It’s that fun.

Thanks again to Bobby for the opportunity, congratulations to the lovely couple and all those in attendance, especially the one pictured here. I wasn’t properly introduced so I don’t know her name but, if I had guess, I’d think it should be “!”. I’m just sayin’.
